how it works

Fostering with Foster Wales Cardiff means tapping into our community. We have a dedicated network that provides professional support, expertise and guidance whenever you need it.

better together

Foster Wales is a collaboration of 22 dedicated Local Authorities from across the country.

We work together for the children of Wales. We support their foster families. And we support the skilled professionals who work with us every day.

what makes us different

Unlike other standard fostering agencies, we’re proudly non-profit. The wellbeing of young people in Wales is our only priority.

We’re also passionate about staying local: ensuring children in our care stay rooted to their communities and friendships, maintaining their sense of ‘self’ and identity. That’s why we take great efforts to keep children in Cardiff close to home, and work with foster carers within the Cardiff community.

None of this would be possible without a foster parent like you.
